We’re thrilled to kick off 2025 with the first quarter edition of our Segments newsletter, spotlighting several key Construction Management projects across North America.
Turn to page 4 for an update on LA Metro’s Westside Purple Line Extension Section 2, which saw significant progress in 2024. In 2025, the focus will shift to station construction, tunnel MEP systems installation, and permanent track placement, bringing the project closer to its expected completion in late 2026.
This issue also features updates and highlights from additional major infrastructure projects, including the Queens–Brooklyn Water Supply Tunnel (New York City Department of Environmental Protection), Annacis Water Supply Tunnel (Metro Vancouver), Stanley Park Capilano 5 Watermain Tunnel (Metro Vancouver), and Shoreline Storage Tunnel (Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District). On page 8, we’ve included a design update on the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission Lower Alemany Area Stormwater Improvements Project. This initiative will enhance stormwater management and reduce flood risks around San Francisco’s Lower Alemany Farmers’ Market, the Interstate 280/US 101 Highway interchange, and nearby neighborhoods.
