Each of these awards is given to an employee who is nominated by colleagues and selected by a leadership committee.
The Paragon Award is given to an employee who maintains a positive attitude, works with strong principles, displays a high level of fairness and professionalism, pays great attention to detail, and is a valuable team player.
The 2023 Paragon Award winner is Lori Lyons-Lachman, a Lead Associate Consultant based out of our Portland office with over 30 years of experience in project management and construction claims consulting.
The Groundbreaker Award is given to an employee who demonstrates creativity and innovation, has meticulous attention to detail, possesses strong intuition, and is a valued mentor and inspiration to others. A Groundbreaker embodies the spirit of embarking on new endeavors with enthusiasm and determination. The 2023 Groundbreaker Award winner is Elnaz Saminfar, a Design Technology Associate based out of our Melbourne office with 10 years of experience as a computational designer with a civil engineering background in infrastructure and building projects.
The Wilton Award was created in 2011 to honor the memory of James Wilton, former Principal and President of Jacobs Associates. This prestigious award is given to an individual who is an “engineer’s engineer,” demonstrating creativity, innovation, a strong work ethic, a practical understanding, meticulous attention to detail and is a sought-after collaborator. The 2023 Wilton Award winner is Luke Erickson, a Senior Associate Engineer and Columbus Office Manager with 17 years of geotechnical, civil, and construction engineering experience.
