Varun is a geotechnical engineer with more than 10 years of experience working on major metro projects in the United States and India. He’s gained experience in precast tunnel lining design, underground station design, construction impact assessment from tunneling, and SEM design through work on metro projects with complex geology. His project history in underground tunneling includes the Los Angeles Metro Rail, Chennai Metro Rail, and Delhi Metro Rail. Varun also worked as a project officer researching experimental rock mechanics and risk assessment of underground construction projects at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
