Sarah Wilson

Construction Management Practice Lead

Sarah is a principal engineer with more than 24 years of experience in underground design, project management, and construction management, primarily on large transit and water conveyance programs. She is an experienced resident engineer and continues to provide technical and contractual support to clients. Sarah served on Delve Underground’s board of directors, where she was the first Board Chair, and is a member of the firm’s Inclusion and Belonging Committee. She has served on several industry committees and boards, including a current term on the Executive Committee for the UCA of SME, and has served on multiple committees as a member of the Moles. Sarah edited the second edition of the UCA of SME’s publication Recommended Contract Practices for Underground Construction in 2019. She has taught construction management and tunneling courses at the Colorado School of Mines, and she serves on Drexel University’s Engineering Alumni Industry Board. In 2020, Sarah led the firm’s joint Bridges to Prosperity Team along with Traylor Bros. for a pedestrian bridge build in Uganda.

Sarah holds an MS in Geotechnical Engineering, University of California at Berkeley, and a BS in Civil Engineering from Drexel University. She is a registered Professional Engineer in California and a Certified Construction Manager.
