Richard has more than 34 years of domestic and international experience in geotechnical engineering, 20 of which have been spent working in the Los Angeles area, primarily on rail transit projects. Richard has provided construction supervision and management for small- to large-scale civil infrastructure and complex public works projects, including light and heavy rail, high-speed rail, soft- and hard-ground tunnels (NATM and TBM), underground stations and caverns (SEM), transportation corridors, waterways, bridges, and high-rise foundations.
