R. Mark Dempf

Construction Management Vice President- East

R. Mark Dempf is a principal and vice president of Construction Management for the US East with 39 years of experience in all aspects of heavy civil projects, including infrastructure/​utility master planning, design, and construction activities. He has delivered projects with a focus on tunnel shafts, underground works, and dams, representing the owner as the Engineer of Record, Resident Engineer, or Construction Manager. Mark joined the firm in 2019 and served first as the US East Construction Management Division lead. In his current role, Mark has responsibilities in developing and executing major pursuits and staff development. He is currently the Construction Manager for the construction of New York City Department of Environmental Protection’s billion-dollar City Tunnel 3 Final Shafts 17B and 18B.

Mark holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Vermont. He is a registered Professional Engineer in New York and Vermont and an Envision Sustainability Professional.
