Principal Engineer

Neal brings the knowledge and experience to develop constructible solutions to the most technically challenging designs for underground infrastructure construction. He has served as a consultant and designer to contractors, owners, and engineers on projects involving tunnels and shafts for mining, transportation, water supply, and sewerage. Neal has extensive experience in the detailed design of structural systems, lifting devices, foundations, excavation support, temporary and permanent ground support, and permanent linings for tunnels and shafts. He also has a proven track record in the design of equipment for drill-and-blast shafts and tunnels, as well as equipment for record-setting shafts excavated by both blind-bore and raise-bore methods.
