Kristian Nelson

Australia/New Zealand Regional Manager

Kristian is a principal engineer with over 25 years of civil engineering experience delivering projects in Canada, New Zealand, and Australia. Kristian joined the company in 2015 and has been active in growing our conveyance and outfall market in addition to being a regional manager. His technical expertise includes temporary and permanent works design, complex marine project delivery, pipejacking, and geotechnical improvement methods. Kristian manages projects from planning through design to delivery and has a thorough understanding of the impacts and interrelationships of design, construction, options, and constraints. He also has considerable experience in reviewing designs for cost and constructability and has provided input on various project feasibility reports.

Kristian holds a BASc in Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia. He is a registered Chartered Professional Engineer in New Zealand and Australia, an International Professional Engineer, and a registered Professional Engineer in British Columbia, Canada, and Victoria, Australia.
