Corporate Safety Manager

John is a Corporate Safety Manager with over 30 years of heavy civil construction experience, 17 of which have been dedicated to underground safety. As an expert tunnel safety professional, he possesses an excellent knowledge base regarding safety regulations as well as a strong comprehension of work procedures for both tunnel and surface construction operations. He is dedicated to assisting management teams with developing progressive safety policies and training programs that maximize risk management. John is strongly devoted to the protection of workers and to developing safety cultures based on continuous improvement and best practices that strive to exceed regulatory compliance.

John has an AAS in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University. His certifications and trainings include a Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) Certification, MSHA Tunnel Rescue Training, BG‑4 Breather Certification, OSHA 500 Safety Training, OSHA 30-Hour Safety Training, Mobile Crane Inspection Certification, and Contractor Railroad Safety Training. John is also a member of the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
