Design Technology Group Practice Lead - West

Jeff Fontana has more than 21 years of experience in the design and construction of heavy civil projects with a focus on transportation and underground construction. Since joining Delve Underground in 2011, he has established himself as an expert in the execution of complex 3D/BIM (building information modeling) projects with an emphasis on multidisciplinary coordination, collaboration, and documentation. Jeff has been involved in some of our most complex projects, which have required sophisticated 3D modeling solutions and workflows. During his career, Jeff became an early adopter of BIM authoring tools and has played a significant role in how our firm has evolved and implemented 3D/BIM technologies. His years of experience have led to the adoption of BIM execution best-practices as well as influenced how our engineers and managers deliver projects.

Jeff holds an AA in Computer-Aided Drafting Technology from ITT Technical Institute.
