Glenn Boyce is a principal engineer with 41 years of tunneling and geotechnical experience, which covers virtually every aspect of trenchless, tunnel, shaft, and geotechnical engineering, including exploration and assessment. Since joining Delve Underground in 2005, Glenn has served as an engineer, lead engineer, project manager, and technical reviewer. He has been involved in preliminary and final design, alignment and layout, geometrics, cost estimating and analysis, and environmental studies, inspections, and assessments for a variety of trenchless, tunneling, and shaft projects. His project expertise covers the water, wastewater, transit, and energy markets. In 2009, Glenn was named Trenchless Technology’s ​“Trenchless Person of the Year,” and in 2017 he received the prestigious ASCE Stephen Bechtel Pipeline Award. Active in many professional organizations, he is also an award-winning engineer, teacher, and author.

Glenn holds a PhD in Geological Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MS in Geotechnical Engineering and a BS in Civil Engineering from Drexel University. He is a registered Professional Engineer in California, Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Oregon, Wisconsin, British Columbia, Alberta, and Hong Kong.
