Babatunde (Babs) Marquis has 31 years of experience in planning, design, and construction management of complex infrastructure projects for agencies, municipalities, and utilities for private and public entities. Since joining Delve Underground in 2012, he has managed numerous pipeline and tunnel construction projects including combined sewer overflow conveyance pipelines installed by tunneling, microtunneling, pipe jacking, horizontal directional drilling, and other trenchless construction methods for pipeline renewal to include cured-in-place pipe lining, pipe bursting, inline microtunneling, and sliplining. Babs has worked with owners, engineers, and contractors as contract administrator, project coordinator, and resident engineer, often managing multiple contracts. His experience includes pipeline construction in both soft ground and hard rock. Babs has published and presented several papers on risk management tools for trenchless construction at the ASCE Pipelines Conference, North American Society for Trenchless Technology, No-Dig Conference, and Rapid Excavation and Tunneling Conference. 

Babs holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology and is a Certified Construction Manager.
